Electricity Settlements Analyst

As a senior Analyst within the Billing and Settlements team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate collection and settlement of consumption data. Your role will involve varied tasks including ensuring industry targets are met, developing internal processes, and building effective relationships with external agents.

Responsibilities

·        Overseeing HH/NHH Settlement to ensure Elexon performance targets are met;

·        Proactively improving and developing processes to ensure data flows are efficiently managed;

·        Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on meter faults, upgrades, new connections and disconnections;

·        Provide reporting of metering and settlement statistics and performance;

·        Provide subject matter expertise to resolve complex queries and exceptions;

·        Testing and development of processes in line with industry and system changes

Required Skills & Experience:

·        Previous experience working within a Half Hourly or Settlements focused position in the energy industry;

·        Strong expertise of at least one of the following areas; electricity metering, industry data flows, or electricity settlements;

·        Excellent communicator and can build relationships and influence external parties and internal departments;

·        Proficient use of Excel.

·        Comfortable working with large data sets;
