Job Summary:

As a Team Leader within the Gas Settlements team, you will be responsible for supporting the Team in their ongoing development as well as ensuring all work is completed in line with expected objectives. You will use your skills and experience to upkeep a high level of industry data and improve reporting and analysis on all aspects of Gas Settlements.

Essential functions of the job:

• Support team members to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Work with the Gas Settlements Team and the wider business to manage the gas supply portfolio.
• Assist the Gas Settlements Team with developing reporting and supporting with analysis where required.
• Help team members through providing training and support, conducting one to ones, and assisting with workload management.
• Support team in building relationships will all Third-Party Agents to ensure that SLAs on met in line with contracted obligations.
• Review processes periodically to ensure they are in line with industry modification changes along with improvements identified through team development.
• Work alongside the Senior Gas Analyst to identify knowledge gaps and training needs for team members as required.
• Develop relationships across the business to ensure strong partnerships and knowledge sharing for prevention and resolution of issues.

About you

• Minimum 3 years of experience working within Gas focused Operations positions such as a senior analyst or equivalent
• A high level of understanding of the varied processes involved with Gas Settlements, Metering or Operations.
• Confident and adaptable to working in a face paced environment with high expectations on accurate data.
• Proactive approach to problem solving, idea creation and suggesting/driving change.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• A fast learner who is enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and developing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of varying levels of seniority and experience.
• Able to support and develop team members in specific SME areas.

Skills and experience required:

• Previous experience working within Gas focused Operations position at a senior level.
• Experience in leading a team of people or management of processes.
• Computer literate with very good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Able to prioritise and manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
• Ability to create and implement new reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Initiative to take on duties or tasks to further your learning.
