Role:
We are looking for an experienced Origination and Sales Associate to join our team in the Netherlands. You will play a key role in supporting the growth of our business, ensuring smooth operations and regulatory compliance, while helping drive commercial success in our biofuels activities particularly in HVO and SAF Book & Claim..
Key responsibilities:
Engage directly with internal and external stakeholders as well as with government entities to set-up and monitor regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and operational capabilities for origination and sales of HVO and SAF Book & Claim.
Coordinate and manage the order to cash process to ensure the smooth operation of business activities.
Take on various administrative responsibilities to directly support day-to-day business needs.
Implement strategies to build a biofuels revenue stream, focusing on HVO and SAF Book & Claim. Identify and recruit customers in key industries.
Originate and sell HVO and SAF credits while connecting customers with CFP Energy’s holistic solutions portfolio, including hedging and compliance carbon services.
Engage in lead generation through prospecting, cold calling and participating at trade fairs and industry associations.
Prepare proposals, participate in tenders, set pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals in collaboration with the trading and operations teams.
Build strong customer relationships, handle complaints, and drive customer satisfaction.
Actively use HubSpot CRM to manage customer interactions, track leads, and analyse sales performance.
Job requirements
Ideal candidate:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field such as logistics.
Ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience in the (bio)fuels industry, in the logistics sector or aviation.
Good understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the renewable energy sector.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in Dutch and English, French is a plus.
